Casting Call: Kids Ages 6 to 12 – Must LOVE Pets

We LOVE PETS, so we are launching a new Content Hub or Club for pet-loving kids and families. Our content will be shown online and on TV, featuring kid hosts and ambassadors. We are currently casting for several of these hosts.

Hosts

Ages 6 to 12 years old
Boys and Girls
Ontario residents available to film with their pet/s within 2 hours of Toronto if selected (in the future we will expand beyond Ontario as well and kids and families anywhere in the world are welcome to join the community and participate)
open to a variety of languages including German, Russian, French, Hindi, Portuguese and Spanish.
Must LOVE pets and have a pet.
Must enjoy being on camera, talking to new people, and doing research about pets.

Kids Pet Club

Most kids, at some point, long for a pet. Research has shown that there are many benefits of caring for, reading with and even looking at pets for kids, especially kids with special needs. Pets can help build empathy, responsibility, and confidence. They can help improve mood and reduce stress. They can make you feel good. Having a pet may reduce allergies in children. Walking or playing with a dog may help get families outside exercising.

We will share age appropriate educational, engaging and entertaining content (videos, photos, stories, facts, tips) and activities (challenges, games, quizzes, events). We will be focusing particularly on video series, on our own Website and YouTube Channel, and across multiple platforms around the world.

We want to engage children in interesting factual video content about pets and animals presented by children in a cool way.

Woofstock Auditions

We will be holding 1 to 2 hours of live auditions at Woofstock in Woodbine Park by the Children’s Activity Village.

Date

Saturday, May 28th, 2016 (pending weather). We may also film a few May 29th if there is demand.

The exact times are to be determined later this week but we are planning after the Talent Contest.

If you are unable to attend the live auditions, you can email your photos/videos to kidspetclub@gmail.com. Or you can join Talent Hounds and Upload.

Release Form

All applicants must fill out a release form signed by a parent which you can download HERE.

Print it then fill it in and sign it.

You can either scan it and e-mail it to kidspetclub@gmail.com with a photo and or a video link or bring it with you to the live auditions.
