Homemade Baked Apple Dog Treats Dog Licks Recipe

A Perfect Fall Sweet Treat For Dogs and Kids

Try our delicious easy Talent Hounds Dog Licks Recipe for Homemade Baked Apple Dog Treats

Who doesn’t love a sweet treat? Our DOG LICKS homemade baked apple dog treats are easy to make and look like adorable puppies.

All our DOG LICKS recipes are DIY, dog-friendly, and look like dogs. This recipe is a great one for fall dinner parties or any special event you may be planning for your fur kid (perfect for human kids too!). It has limited ingredients and can be altered to suit your dog’s tastes or dietary needs.

Ingredientsbaked-apple-pups-dog-licks-recipe-ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • a pinch of cinnamon

Decorations

  • 3 blueberries
  • 1 strawberry

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F

  1. Line a baking sheet with foil.baked-apple-pups-dog-licks-recipe-apple-slices
  2. Slice apple in round slices and halves – one should be small enough to be the muzzle.baked-apple-pups-dog-licks-recipe-syrup-pouring-on-apples
  3. Drip maple syrup over apple slices.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes or until soft when poked with a fork.

Assembly

  1. Put the larger apple circle on a plate and place the smaller apple slice on top for the muzzle.
  2. Cut the strawberry in half for the ears and cut a sliver for the tongue.
  3. Add blueberries as eyes and nose.
