PawsWay Pet Loss Support Group

If you have experienced the loss of your animal or are anticipating the loss of your animal, know that you are not alone in the grief that you are feeling. The purpose of this group is to create a safe and supportive environment where everyone’s grief matters. Participants will have an opportunity to express their loss and share memories of their companions. The group meets the first Saturday of each month.

PawsWay Festival of Trees

This festival will focus on children’s authors and illustrators who incorporate dogs or cats (or both!) into their books. Books may be fiction or non-fiction. The authors will do readings throughout the day and ideally are available for autographs and to promote and sell their books if they wish. Each author will have 30 minutes of dedicated programming. This can be utilized in a variety of ways such as readings, general conversations, or Q & A sessions.

 Dog Guides assist people who are blind or visually impaired, who have hearing difficulties, who live with frequent seizures due to epilepsy, and people who have physical or medical disabilities. The Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides is the largest guide dog organization in Canada. With no government funding, donations and fundraisers are very important. A fun, family friendly walk!

Check out the Off leash dog run area. vendors, demonstrators, speakers, breeders, shows, veterinarians, and the caliber of entertainment! Quinte Humane Society will be onsite all day accepting donations at their booth!
