Rat Terrier Rescue Canada Inc.
A non-profit, volunteer based organization that rescues and fosters Rat Terriers in need!
They are dedicated to the welfare of Rat Terriers all over Canada, and work to find new, permanent and loving homes for Ratties that have been abused, neglected or abandoned. As a breed, Rat Terriers are a small and active and have been growing in popularity Canada. Sadly some of the rescued Rat Terriers come from puppy mills, pounds, shelters, or unwanted owner surrenders. Once under the custody of the Rescue, they are placed in foster homes and assessed to get them ready for their adoptive families.
Fun Fact! Rat Terriers have a lifespan of 15-20 years! So adopting an older Rattie is a great choice for any family!

We fell in love with the breed when our good friend Trish Aleve from Pawsome Pet Photography brought her foster Cisco to strut down the runway!
Cisco, Harley and Buster
Host Beverley Mahood with Trish and Cisco at the FouFou Dogs Got Talent Show at APP!
Adorable Cisco was originally found as a stray in Indiana, so little is know about his past. He is approximately 1 year old, and weighs 14lbs. He is a very active boy, and loves to play with both humans and dogs. He loves to snuggle and watch TV or movies!
Cisco found a furever home that will give him a minimum of 1 hour of exercise per day!
