Paint for Paws

Purina PawsWay -245 Queens Quay W
6:00PM to 9:00PM
Admission: $20 Purchase Tickets HERE
Benefiting: Dog Rescuers Inc., Oakville, Ontario
NorthernElite, a student-run business from George Brown College, presents ‘Paint for Paws’; a charity event featuring an exciting and interactive art competition between local artists.
All proceeds will be going to Dog Rescuers Inc., a non-profit organization based in Oakville with a passion for rescuing and re-homing all breeds of dogs. All rescued dogs receive necessary vet care ranging from annual care to costly surgeries and they need our help to raise the funds to help make this happen.
The art competition will consist of three rounds where local artists will paint anything they wish in 30 minutes while guests vote on their favourite painting with a ballot. After each round, the artists with the least amount of votes will be eliminated until we have nominated a winner. After the competition, guests will have a chance to bid on their favourite paintings in a live auction. Along with the interactive art battle, ‘Paint for Paws’ will hold a raffle, have catered food, wine and beer, and an information booth featuring Dog Rescuers Inc. where guests can learn about how they can adopt, foster, or donate to their cause.
