2016 Vancouver Police Dogs Calendar
Calendars featuring the furriest members of the Vancouver Police Department are being sold this holiday season to raise money for the B.C. Cancer Foundation and the B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The calendars are being sold for $10 each. The VPD says past calendar sales have raised more than $130,000 since 2007, including $30,000 last year. They will be announcing the sale on VPD.ca, Facebook, and on Twitter @VancouverPD and @VPDCanine

This give-what-you-can 2016 calendar campaign for Dog Guides will be held at Pet Valu’s across Canada. All of the proceeds from the calendar will benefit Dog Guides and support the sponsorship of new teams. Calgary Police Service 2016 Canine Unit Calendar
The calendar features most of the unit’s 22 dogs, a special poster, and details about each of the service dogs.
Proceeds go towards the Calgary Police Foundation’s funded program YouthLink Calgary, which educates young people about “crime and its consequences, the role of police in society, and demonstrates how sound lifestyle choices today can lead to fulfilling tomorrows,” according to police.
