Fabulous Photos from Woofstock’s Hound Dog Hoe Down High Tea
Woofstock is North America’s largest festival for dogs, and this year it kicked off its 13th year with the “Hound Dog Hoe Down High Tea”.
On Sunday May 15th, around 100 VIP costumed dogs and their owners gathered in downtown Toronto’s Berkeley church to enjoy high tea and a fabulous costume competition. It was all for a good cause as VIP members and sponsors all donated to animals in need ($20 recommended per person).
This year’s high tea had a country-western theme, so many of the dogs (and owners) came dressed to the nines in their best hoedown attire. The dogs and owners had the opportunity to socialize with one another, and take advantage of the great photo locations set up around the event space.
We love to spoil our dogs, and this was the perfect way to celebrate our bond with our canine companions – The bouillon tea and dog biscuits were a great touch. Plus Kilo and I loved the Swag bag- Kilo had major envy – check out the stylin’ gold chain Helmut the Pug is wearing.
We have put together some note worthy costumes and some familiar faces, enjoy!
