With so much negative frightening news these days, I thought it would be good to create a series of Inspirational Quotes About Friendship, Love and Happiness to Inspire You and Make You Smile each week.
My rescue dog Kilo the Pug has become my best little friend and I value my friendships enormously. I thought we should start with the Friendship theme so here are 5 quotes I like. One of my favorite quotes is from Victor Hugo: “The greatest happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved; loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves.”
I love all of these quotes! My dogs consistently make my days better, even if they also complicate things sometimes.
These are all great quotes, but #s 3 and 5 are my faves! What an adorable video, it’s so true we should take a cue from our dogs on how to really love! One of my favorite dog quotes is “A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself” by Josh Billings. It’s so true!

I love the first one but seriously, how many people really understand their dogs? I think that’s the main reason for “broken friendships” with dog – poor understanding.
