Thanks To All The Rescue Orgs & People who Foster & Adopt- on Thankful Thursday!
Here are a few of the wonderful Rescues and Volunteers we saw at Woofstock- I’ll be adding more pics and Rescue Orgs tonight and tomorrow including Westies, Dachshunds, Spaniels and others, as interrupted today.
Boston Terrier Rescue Canada (BTRC) is a registered national Canadian non-profit organization made up entirely of unpaid volunteers who are dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of Boston Terriers and Boston Terrier mixes in Canada.
Their program takes in Boston Terriers that are abandoned, neglected, abused or that can no longer be cared for by their owners and provides them with a safe haven, medical care, training, support and TLC. Their ultimate goal is to match every dog with a permanent, loving home through a careful adoption process.
Check out their website for more info and to see some adoptables like Cookie.
Also check out some of our videos and photos featuring this adorable breed including Louie, Bella and other Talented Dogs.
GINA- Greyhounds In Need of Adoption is a volunteer non-profit based in Toronto, Canada.
GiNA is dedicated to finding loving, responsible homes for retired racing Greyhounds. Gina’s team of lovely greyhounds were out in force. Such sweet beautiful dogs that make great pets. GiNA’s first and foremost concern is the safety and well being of their dogs. They pride themselves on the amount of love and care they put into finding the perfect home for each one, and they go out of their way to meet and get to know all potential adoptive families to ensure each dog goes to the best possible home.
GINA’s geographical boundaries are Toronto – St. Catherine’s – Kitchener/Waterloo – Barrie – Whitby – Oshawa.
We saw Robert and Elaine, friends of Margaret and Arthur, with a wonderful group of rescued wieners including Smoke before they headed off to Quebec to rescue more adorable babies. Such a hot beautiful day, Smoke clearly wanted ice cream as well as a Forever Home. Great pose for the cameras.
