Bark for Life in Trintiy Bellwoods Park Toronto! September 7th, 2013
“Tell Cancer it Barked up the Wrong Tree!” Bark For Life is a fun event for dogs and their owners to walk for charity whilst raising awareness and funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. The event is supported through individual donations collected by registered event participants and their dog friends.
Register with your canine companion today for Bark For Life 2013 by clicking HERE! Help the Canadian Cancer Society by fundraising to support leading-edge cancer research, offer reliable information, provide community support services for people living with cancer, and advocate for healthy public policy. All registered participants will receive a bandana for their dog! We’ll be there with our friends from Super Scoopy.
September 8th at Confederation Park and Wild Waterworks
Support our friends at the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA by fundraising and walking for a scenic 5km walk followed by a doggie pool party at Wild Waterworks! There are 3 off leash pool areas your pooch can cool off in and great events such as a Doggie Swimsuit Contests, our friends from RUFFSPORT doing Dog Agility and Dock Jumping Demos, Vendors, Live Music and a Barbecue at the end of the walk to enjoy!
The Hamilton/Burlington SPCA works tirelessly to rescue and rehabilitate homeless, sick or injured animals. Dude has become the spokes man for the Wiggle Waggle Walk & Splash due to his courageous story.
September 22, 2013 at Woodbine Park- Toronto Beaches
Come out rain or shine to support the Toronto Humane Society celebrating 126 years of second chances by walking with your furry four-legged friend. Register to start raising funds, why not recruit your local dog-park-friends or dog-walking association to participate or form a Team from your community! Or you can just join in the fun with your dog.
Carla Collins, award-winning comedian, actress, television and radio host and writer will host the day’s event. Festivities before and after the scenic walk will include live music, face-painting, dog agility shows and much more! Theres even prizes for raising the most money!
Smiling Blue Skies “Toronto 2nd Annual Walk to End Dog Cancer”
September 28th at Kew Beach Toronto
This is an on leash walk along the boardwalk from Kew Beach to Ashbridges and back. Entry fee is a donation of any amount. 100% of all proceeds go to the Smiling Blue Skies Cancer Fund OVC Pet Trust Fund for research and treatment of companion animals.
