This Thankful Thursday we feature our friends at Save Me Rescue! This wonderful rescue organization has been busy posting adoptable dogs on our site looking for their loving forever homes and we are thrilled to see how successful they have been.

Adoptable Jager!

SAVE ME RESCUE is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities, they are able to rescue animals every year, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.

 

Adoptable Midnight!

Save Me Rescue also offers emergency fostering facilities to women in abusive situations to temporarily care for their dogs while they seek assistance in crisis shelters. The rescue is currently working to set up a “buddy system” with our local Family and Children’s Services to match up a foster dog with a foster child for fully supervised play and exercise times together, to help foster children to feel needed.
