Let’s Celebrate Proud Canadian Dogs Together

To celebrate Canada Day 2017 and Canada’s 150th anniversary, we would like to make an uplifting video featuring 150 Proud Canadian Dogs.

Since the beginning of the year, Canada 150 activities have been in full swing across Canada. The activities are designed to celebrate our diversity, encourage inclusion and discover and celebrate Canada’s natural beauty and wonderful inhabitants (human and animal). Here is a chance to participate!

Submissions may also make you eligible to win a $25 VISA Gift Card and other benefits.

Let us know on the form below, in the comments or across our social media if you have a Proud Canadian Dog you love and would like your dog to be featured. Make sure you give the dog’s name.

June 20th to Wednesday June 28th at 5pm

How to Enter the Contest and Submit your Proud Canadian Dogs for the Video.

Upload a photo or video of your dog through the form below or the submission button on the right of this page or e-mail us at info at talenthounds dot ca.

You can also tag us on your Instagram photo @mytalenthounds and also use the hashtag #proudCanadiandogs150 or upload a photo or video to our Facebook page in comments on the contest post or post directly to the page.

If you know we already have a great photo or video of your dog, just let us know below to submit and enter the contest.

The prize

The Talent Hounds team will select photos and/or videos representing 150 proud Canadian Dogs and create an iconic video for July 1st to celebrate Canada Day and Canada 150.

There will also be a random draw of all entries and one lucky winner will be sent a prize of a $25 VISA  Gift Card.

Please also mention if your dog is a rescue, therapy or service dog as we are currently looking for more uplifting stories to feature in our next TV episodes and posts.

What we are looking for.

The odds of your dog winning the gift card and/or being included depend on the number of entries and dogs submitted and the quality of images.

To increase the odds, make sure it is a horizontal high resolution photo or video with no logos or weird things in the background. Dogs doing something iconically Canadian or wearing or showing a typically Canadian scene may have a better chance of being selected. If there is a human in the photo, make sure you have the rights to use that image and that the photo represents the wonderful human-dog bond.

Rules

This contest is open to residents of Canada above the age of majority where legal ex Quebec.

By letting us know you would like your dog featured, you grant Talent Hounds and Hop To It Productions an unlimited license across all media to use the image. However we are under no obligation to use it

You must own the photo and the dog submitted and you must not infringe on any other rights.

You may submit up to 3 photos per dog. You can enter to win the $25 VISA Gift Card daily even without a photo on the form below.

Please do not submit any dangerous or indecent images.
