Talented Dogs Doing Dog Tricks at Woofstock
Happy Monday! Today we are inspired by the talented dogs and hard work we saw at Woofstock. The annual Dog Trick Dog Contest is always a crowd favourite. Wonderful family dogs showed off entertaining and often complex tricks and routines, just like the pros. All of the dogs who performed that day are trained using positive reinforcement techniques with rewards such as treats or toys. Making sure your dog has both mental and physical exercise is important for keeping him or her healthy and happy.

Wow, those are some talented pups. We’re working on teaching Rita “belly crawl.” It’s pretty cute. Her favorite trick though is getting the daddy to give her a treat every time he walks past the treat closet!

So many awesome dogs and tricks! I’d love to teach Mr. N to jump into my arms but I don’t think he’s quite big enough. He’s very bouncy but not spring-y.
