We are excited to be going to MIPTV in Cannes in April to pitch our new TV series “Dogs Make A Difference”. Watch the trailer for my favorite episode Dogs and Kids below.
To celebrate, we are giving away a pawtographed copy of the beautiful book by our Canadian friend Joanne George about her Dog Smiley the Blind Therapy Dog and his Journey of Love.
We are also at Global Pet Expo in Orlando doing research with organizations like HABRI and looking for stories like this beautiful therapy dog with Pet Partners who visits hospitals and does amazing pet therapy and reading programs with kids.
Miracle Workers Featured in the TV Series
You’ll see some familiar faces like Bocker Labradoodle and Bocker Junior, Smiley the Blind Therapy Dog and Sunny, and Gizmo as well as some new heroes making a difference in the new TV series.

Good luck with the TV series and the book! I think it’s wonderful raising children with animals, or at the very least allow them opportunities to interact. I never grew up with pets, but I love seeing the bond they develop as they essentially grow up together. I know too many kids who are terrified of dogs, or worse apathetic and I feel they’re missing so much. Yes I’m in love with Smiley what a cutie!

Icy and I are a Pet Partners therapy dog team as well, so this is near & dear to my heart. I loved Smiley, Bocker, & Gizmo. Such special dogs! This is a Wonderful post, the videos are fantastic. I can’t believe how calm Smiley was even when a butterfly landed on his paw! It’s amazing how special needs dogs help kids feel empathy for others, that is a gift.

I so believe dogs make a difference in our lives as I remember how much Baby did in mine and Layla does today, without both of them I do not know where I would be today
God Bless them both for both being part of my life in different times.

Aw, love me some Smiley! What an amazing story – and therapy dogs are just so special. They are like emotional intuitives. Have a great time and let us know about HABRI, such an amazing group!

Therapy pets make a huge difference to the lives of those they touch. I know, thanks to Sparklecat and Summer the Somali, that a visit from a therapy pet can lift spirits and bring stability to someone.
Enjoy Global and good luck with the series.

This is great! I’ll be sure to share with others! I think it’s so wonderful that therapy pets exist to help us humans. We soo don’t deserve them but so glad they are our angels with fur. Good luck to the participants!

Good luck in April! It looks like a great show! I love Smiley, he was one of the first dogs I featured when I started my blog.

I look forward to seeing your show and I’ll have to get a copy of the Smiley book. My Buffy is also blind and I thought of making her a therapy dog since she has become quite friendly after she became blind. Only she seems to have forgotten most of her obedience training, so probably could not get her certification.

We followed smiley online so we were sad to see him pass. I am looking forward to watching the show. We are also entering your awesome giveaway!
