Highlights from the
Woofstock 2017 Round-Up
If you were at Woofstock this year, I imagine you were as delighted as we were that the weather was amazing and that the adorable dogs of Toronto and nearby were out in full force!
We had a blast taking in all the incredible booths, activities and shows the festival had to offer and we took some great video to keep everyone in the loop.
Catching up with friends from near and far
It always makes us so happy to see our friends and colleagues at these events. This year was a bit different as Susan, who heads our team, was out of town traveling and unable to attend. With our Cameraman and Editor Mark and I running off leash, we did our best to get around and see all our Talent Hounds friends, and we wanted to give a a few quick shout outs.
The adorable and charming Fishstick came in 2nd in his heat in the Running of the Pugs, an always enjoyable event! So proud of you, Fish!
The gorgeous and fashionable Sage and Toby from 3 Furry Beauties were observed from just off the stage looking absolutely stunning in the Ruff Stitched Fashion show. We are so excited that Toby was granted the incredible honor of being named Mr. Canine Woofstock 2017! Congratulations!
All 3 Furry Beauties dressed up as incredible mermaids in the costume contest. They are always winners to us.
Ruff Stiched‘s own Winston the Mighty Morkie was also amazing, modelling several different outfits in the fashion show.
Kilo’s girl friend Charmin was also looking cute as ever, modelling several outfits including some incredible evening wear.
More Fun and More Great Interviews and Videos Coming Up
We also met some long time friends face to face for the first time including Lisa and Coppertone who were killing it on the Gnarly Cranking K9 Wave Maker with Lucy Pet. We’ll have to do a video just for the surfing dogs.
And caught up with Smiley the Blind Therapy Dog who always brightens our day. We’ll be doing a video on Smiley and how he makes a difference in time for his upcoming don’t miss book.
We sat down for a spotlight interview with Jane from COPE after she put on an incredible demonstration in the Bullwrinkles Arena about how service dogs can help in more ways than you can imagine.
We watched dogs tap into their instincts on the Dog Lovers Days Lure Course.
There were also Dock Dogs and Trick Dogs and Fashionistas and Divas and so many dogs, dogs, dogs!
Were you at Woofstock this year? What was your favorite part of the festival?
