Carrie Cutforth-Young is a storyteller, transmedia strategist, and community builder. In the past, she has collaborated with the renowned dub-poet Lillian Allen to produce two locative-media pieces for Poetry Village: Ripple and Textapublication, and is currently developing The Karada with Conspiracy for Good ARG producer Tom Liljeholm of Tea4Two Entertainment and NBC Heroes Writer Jim Martin.
Carrie is the lead project manager/writer on All Your Fates, a prequel novella to The Karada currently featured on Wattpad. She is a co-founder and co-organizer of Transmedia 101 (formerly Transmedia Toronto), a Toronto based transmedia community building initiative that has monthly meetups comprised of panels, presentations, and screenings featuring both from local and international transmedia creatives.
Her company Queen Spade Creative launched Work with No Pants, an Alternate Reality Game, late June of this year. A graduate of OCAD University, Carrie has a BFA with a double minor in Digital Media Studies and English.
