Pom Pom Chewy is a 4 year old Pomeranian. Chewy for short. I interviewed his Mom Nicole on the set of my daughter’s new comedy series Sloppy Jones (we managed to film the trailer for the series before lockdown).
The script called for a very chic, chill Pomeranian so I knew just who to cast. Chewy was awesome on the day and everyone loved him!

He is a rescue from Northern Ontario who now lives in The Six. When he was born, he was small, sickly, and skittish. They didn’t know if he was going to make it. He was scared of most people and liked to hide under the couch. It’s hard to believe now he was shy, as he is so friendly, confident and chill. He loves people and cuddles.
It took a lot of patience for Nicole to build a bond of trust. He would pull her clothes under the couch and bundle up because he was always cold so she started dressing him in outfits right from the beginning.
Chewy’s Mom Nicole is a teacher. Once Chewy had a bond with her, she started taking him to school with her. He realized that little humans weren’t as scary as big ones and loved playing with them! He still does a lot of work with children and inspires them.
He also still loves putting on clothes and glasses. His range of glasses also help kids who need glasses realise they can be super cool too.
He has more outfits than his Mom.
He is The World’s Littlest Trendsetter, an eye for fashion like no other. Mix a pineapple printed shirt with pinstripe straight-leg pants? You got it! Once his outfits were on point, the commercials and films followed. From working on independent films like Humor Me to Universal Studios on the set of The Secret Life a Pets.
His favorite pastimes are playing with kids, making appearances across North-America, hopping from one sunny patio and one set to the next.
He keeps his style fresh and his hair long and slick.

A smart little dog. I have to appreciate this breed. Very cute from thick fur, big round eyes and 4 short legs. I used to raise one child after 8 years. My dog got sick and passed away. I miss it so much.
