The BISSELL Booth at Global Pet Expo.
I was at Global Pet Expo in March and stopped by the BISSELL booth. I always like to hear what they are up to with their new Pet Care Products and their Foundation (see our round up of the Mega Adoption Event supported by the BISSELL Foundation last year in Toronto that was such a success there were not enough suitable dogs needing homes to repeat it this year).
The BISSELL BarkBath
I was quite excited by the new product they were promoting: the next generation of dog-bathing.
“The BarkBath is a faster, easier and less messy way to bathe your four-legged family member.“
Kilo the Pug sheds like a bandit and does not enjoy taking a bath. He looks miserable then races around the house rubbing his wet body on everything white to dry off. This portable bathing system allows you to bathe your pet practically anywhere and anytime with virtually no mess. Specially designed nozzles get beneath the fur and down to the skin to allow water and shampoo to wash the skin clean while a soft suction pulls dirt and water away into a separate dirty water tank. The system works with any length of fur and one tank of water will completely wash an 80 lb. dog in about 10 minutes. The no-rinse shampoo formula leaves the dog’s coat feeling clean and fresh.
I saw it demo’d on the small dog below and a big labrador retriever and it was quite quiet and looked very efficient.
Another Demo at Paws In The Park Supporting The Toronto Humane Society
Last weekend I was at Paws In the Park supporting our Toronto Humane Society at their annual fundraiser. BISSELL and the BISSELL FOUNDATION were major sponsors. I saw another demonstration of the BarkBath which is now launching in Canada. The lab was literally rolling onto his back for tummy rubs with the nozzle as you can see in my video.
Kilo the Pug stood near it comfortably but I did not actually try it as he already gets stressed in public. His puggy pal Pumpkin got one that they generously donated to the silent auction so I look forward to hearing how that goes.
This post was not sponsored, I just thought it was a cool new product and I like brands that give back.
