National Puppy Day is March 23rd!
National Puppy Day is a day to celebrate the unconditional love that puppies bring to our lives. But more importantly, it’s a day to help educate the public about the horrors of puppy mills. National Puppy Day was founded in 2006 by Celebrity Pet & Home Lifestyle Expert and Author, Colleen Paige.
So today, celebrate puppies, your own puppy, or your dog who still acts like one.
If you are considering adopting a puppy into your life, RESEARCH is key to a successful relationship. Take our dog breed quiz for fun to see your ideal canine match then check out the breed library and talk to experts for more info.

Puppies are the best!
Dolly the Doxie says
We respectfully disagree about researching breeds and buying a dog for its characteristics. National Puppy Day is not about buying dogs, but about adoption, stores sell puppies from puppy mills. Love Dolly

Research is very, very smart advice. I’m talking about research on whether a puppy is right for you. People think puppies are cute, but sometimes don’t realize the huge amount of work and commitment they require. There are so many adult dogs that need homes. I encourage people to work with rescues and fosters who know the animals and know their personalities and can help match a pet that really meets your needs and lifestyle — and you can save a life.
