Calling all pet owners, animal lovers, and veterinary and vet tech students in the GTA and surrounding areas. The series will educate and engage attendees, as well as raise funds and awareness for the work of the Community Veterinary Outreach program.

Find your new best friend at Toronto’s Mega Pet Adoption Event. Proudly sponsored by PetSmart Charities of Canada.
Adoption fees are $25 for all animals. Rabbits available for adoption on Sunday, June 7th only.

DogLoversDays is a fun-filled interactive “dog” festival where the family dog can enjoy running a lure/agility course, get the star treatment in the Pamper Zone, have some fun in the Doggie Play Zone, or visit a Holistic Healer at the Health and Wellness Centre. Of course, for the adults, there are numerous vendors and lots to see.

If you have experienced the loss of your animal or are anticipating the loss of your animal, know that you are not alone in the grief that you are feeling. The purpose of this group is to create a safe and supportive environment where everyone’s grief matters.

This is the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to become a pet owner to visit with breeders from the area and learn what breed is your best fit! Meet adorable puppies and kittens; speak to expert breeders and our onsite nutritionist.

Bring the whole family (including your dog!) or the first ever outdoor dog festival in west Niagara, in support of the Lincoln County Humane Society. Lots of vendors, and all will have a fundraising element tied into their offerings. Lincoln County will have dogs with them that are in need of their forever homes, and kids can have fun getting their faces painted like their favourite animal, get a balloon animal, and have fun watching fly ball demonstrations!

PupCake Dog Festival is a perfect opportunity for pet lovers to have a great time with their dogs at such wacky, Fun events as the PupCake Fashion Show, Best Costume Contest, Ms. And Mr. Canine Canada Pageant and Lots More! Plus There are lots of great deals and free samples from innovative specialty vendors offering the latest trends in doggie fashion and accessories, from flashy to luxe, and the newest and hottest specialty foods, services and accoutrements for posh pooches.

Pet First Aid Certification Course is a veterinarian approved certificate recommended for all Pet Lovers, yet is comprehensive enough to provide Pet Care Professionals the needed tools to safely care for other people’s pets, and to know what to do, should a pet be ill or injured. Recognize and manage all types of injuries, emergencies, rescue breathing, CPR and bandaging.

Don’t miss Calgary’s fourth annual Mutt Show – a dog show with heart! Learn about local animal rescue groups and meet animals currently available for adoption, all in a unique dog-show style format. There will be a variety of pet-related businesses on hand as well!
Stop by ARF’s (Animal Rescue Foundation) booth and learn about their programs, how you can get involved and help stray/abandoned dogs and cats, shop our merchandise and visit with some of our adoptable animals!

Don’t miss the Purina PawsWay Pet Parade Saturday, June 20. Meet at HTO Park West at 12:15pm and join in a walk along the new Queens Quay Boulevard with your pooch starting at 12:30pm.
The free RWF Shuttle, courtesy of RBC, will be running all day along Queens Quay if you and your dog need a cruise back. The DockDogs® Competition will also be at Sherbourne Common on both Friday and Sunday.

The day begins with a 2km walk along the trails of Riverside Park, after which, everyone can enjoy a fun-filled day in the picnic area. Other activities include raffles, door prizes, a sponsor and vendor marketplace, dog demonstrations, contests and games for pets and people, as well as an all day BBQ.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to care for the animals in the shelter to assist with our spay/neuter program, medical supplies and our humane education program. We encourage you to collect pledges and join us at the park. The first 50 participants with pledges will receive a goodie bag. We look forward to seeing you and your four-legged friends at this years’ walk! Printable Pledge Sheets are available on our website

Come out and experience over 100 vendors to shop at. It is like a mall that you can bring your dog to. Than watch all the fun with games for you and your pet. ANY dog is welcome and can try a variety of games and the agility course, lure course and fun pet zone.
Come meet Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund .Come get your picture taken with you and your pet in the Wienermobile. Than watch the Running of the Wieners!

An intensive 4-day workshop leading to professional dog walking certification. Graduates come away fully equipped to start a dog walking business—or advance an existing one. Expand your knowledge of canine behavior, learn new pack-management techniques and fight protocols, and go through the A-Z of running and marketing a dog walking business.
What You Get: A Professional dog walking certification First Aid certification, Certification seals for marketing 24 CPDT CEUs, Continental breakfast (weekend), afternoon power snacks, Copy of The Business of Dog Walking.
What You Will Learn: Pack management, dog communication & body language, aggression in all its forms: what it means, how to prevent it, and what to do about it. Safety and fight protocols, basic training: build reliable sits, recalls, and polite leash behavior. Client and dog screening, public relations, small business practices, liability protection, marketing, increasing profits and legalizing your business.
