We’ve just received word that ARF Ontario, Pawlooza founder with LEADS Employment, has already accepted 30 dog adoption applications thanks to Pawlooza! WooHoo for the adoption option! Let us know if your rescue group received adoption applications/adoption interest at Pawlooza 2013!

A Big THANK YOU to all the amazing rescue organizations that attended this years PAWLOOZA!  Bullwrinkles and Barnsdale Farms SELECT Treats were Paw-sitivly a Hit!

What a great day filled with fun events, activities, contests, shopping and more. Highlights for us included Ulti-Mutts Sophia and Bella, Dock Jumping, Lure and Ball chasing, and Swimming! The real stars of the day were the amazing volunteers that participated in the event.  There were Volunteers from 50+ Rescue Organizations all working to :  Educate the public, and to Rehabilitate and Facilitate displaced dogs into loving forever homes.

Wiener Wares is a company that prints environmentally friendly apparel with a cause! They are always working with rescues to help raise money to save dogs in danger and help dogs find their forever homes.


This sweet little guy Blue was rescued from a dumpster half frozen but has found his Happy Forever Home.


His Mom volunteers with Helping Homeless Pets and Tiny Paws (where we met Arthur and Margaret) who had a booth.


PAWS – PAWS is a champion for animals and women.


Tanya from Bullwrinkles hand delivers a box of treats to the Great Dane Rescue ,a non-profit group established in 1993 dedicated to the placement of relinquished Great Danes. A beautiful black Great Dane loved the attention the booth was getting!




Founded in London, Ontario, Canada in 1977 by four animal lovers who now work placing about 250 cats and dogs a year into responsible, loving homes. Not bad for a volunteer group! Animalert focuses on three main areas: Adoption, Education, and Spaying/Neutering.


The Airedale Terrier Rescue and Adoption receive treats! One terrier seems to think they smell great!



MonStars works with various other rescues to rehabilitate and rehome unwanted, stray, abused and neglected animals across North America. They specialize in the Rehabilitation, Fostering, Rehoming and Assessing of Molosser type breeds across Ontario.


Rat Terrier Rescue Canada Inc. is a charitable non-profit, volunteer organization that rescues and fosters Rat Terriers in private homes. Dedicated to the welfare of Rat Terriers, they work to find new, permanent and loving homes for Rat Terriers that have been abused, neglected or abandoned.


Meet Gracie a chihuahua rescued by K9ResQ who recently gave birth to a litter of seven puppies, who will all be looking for their forever homes! K9ResQ is dedicated to rescuing dogs and adopting them to approved homes, where they will be loved, as part of the family. They aim to help all who are interested in experiencing the joy of owning and loving a dog.



We saw a fun before and after – look how much he has grown and how happy he looks:


We saw our friends at the Boston Terrier Rescue Canada booth! A great organization rescuing and rehoming Boston’s anywhere in Canada.


A volunteer poses with a Dashund Rescue out front of the CDR – Canadian Dashund Rescue . To date CDR has saved the lives of almost 1,000 wieners from abuse and euthanasia!  This far-reaching group strives to ensure that no dachshund in Canada is left behind.

People Against Puppy Mills Ontario were on hand to shed light on horrific puppy mill facilities in aim to shut hem down.


Fur Kids Rescue aims to help dogs that are on their way to being euthanized across Ontario.


Tanya gives Barnsdale Farms treats to Adopt-a-Dog, Save-a-Life!


Weimaraner Association of Canada works all over the country to save this loyal breed.


Save Me Rescue –  a non profit organization dedicated to saving dogs and placing them in loving and caring homes in Southern Ontario,Canada. Most of thier rescues are from puppy mills or dog pounds where they have been slated for death.


A Talent Hound Member hands delivers yummy treats to our friends at the Golden Rescue – one of the largest single breed rescue groups in Canada. They work hard to ensure that every Golden who enters their program is placed with a safe and loving forever family.


We always love catching up with the Westies in Need (WIN) volunteers! Its “out of the love for these little white dogs comes our passion for helping Westies in Need.”


We couldn’t get enough of the cute pugs and amazing apparal at the Pug-a-Lug Pug Rescue booth!




Bullies In Need (BIN) is a rescue dedicated to the “pit bull type” dogs in Ontario who face euthanasia daily in Ontario’s shelters. Bullies In Need is aware of the general public perception of pit bulls and holds the restoration of the reputation of the breed in the highest priority.


Who doesn’t love long floppy ears and big eyes? The Basset Rescue re-homes this adorable breed across Ontario.
