Gizmo is a therapy dog who wears many different hats. The 3.5 pound “Wonderdoglet” welcomes all “frens” and encourages everyone to share his message of life and love!

Help Talent Hounds wish him a very Happy Birthday this Saturday March 8th on

Gizmo works as a certified therapy dog with Paws For Friendship, Inc.,  He visits hospitals, group homes, rehab centers, a dialysis center, senior living communities and a large urban high school. He has even traveled from his home in CT to meet a mentoring program in WI called Horizons4Girls to help the girls deliver holiday treats to the elderly.
He also works with many organizations to increase awareness of positive things happening all around us. These include Rotary, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Wicked Chic (a local artists’ cooperative), food pantries, shelters, an arts center and several local community groups.

He has been named American Dog Magazine’s Spring 2014 “Little Dog With a Big Heart” and the Village at Buckland Court’s #1 Volunteer, and he received an Official Proclamation from Manchester’s Mayor Diana for his work in the community (they both wore their bow ties for the occasion).

As the face of the nonprofit Gizmo’s Frens, Inc.(501(c)3 pending) Gizmo helps raise awareness and funds for charities including pet rescues, food pantries, cancer awareness, veteran’s organizations, and children’s charities.

But perhaps Gizmo’s most interactive claim to fame is his popular Facebook page, Gizmo’s Frens  with 20,000+ fans. Gizmo and his FB page have been described as a lens through which we see good in the world. Gizzy’s motto is “Cuz we’re frens!” and that is exactly why he does what he does. So stop by his page today and wish him a Happy Birthday this Saturday March 8th!
