Proud Mother of my fur baby Kilo the Pug and my 2 daughters.
I can’t wait to spend the weekend outdoors, enjoying the sun with family.
Here is a snapshot below for the 52 Snapshots of Life weekly photo challenge. By coincidence the theme is “Mother”.
Since fostering (and now adopting) Kilo the Pug from Homeward Bound Rescue, my weekends often revolve around him. As I mentioned in my post, My Dog Makes Me Happy, there is no doubt about the joy a dog can bring to your life each day.
I realize that there will always be people who just don’t feel the same way about pets as fur parents do. They don’t understand the bond and connection that forms.
I loved reading our pal Jenna’s 10 Things NOT To Say To Dog Mom, list from the blog, “Love Is Being Owned By A Husky”. There are so many great comments people make in ignorance.
Are you a proud Mom or Dad?
Along with my fur baby, I am also a mother to two amazing girls. Here’s a photo of my youngest daughter Sophie, Kilo and myself.
Today we joined the 52 Snapshots of Life Blog Hop and the weekly Pet Parade. We also joined Create with Joy Block Party to celebrate new and old friends and their work. Pop by and say hi to some wonderful creators:

You are lucky to get to experience motherhood in many different ways! I never had children of my own, but had a stepson who only lived with us part time, which was definitely different (and difficult in many ways). So I really enjoy being mother to my cats and dogs, who are with me every single day…to me, that daily bonding is what really makes things special.
Oh, and what an adorable photo of Kilo, and the two of you with your daughter (love the shirts too).

Great photos! You are so right that some people are fur moms and some don’t get it. But like any relationship what you give is what you get and we get lots of love.
