Over the last 10 years Pugalug Pug Rescue have helped over 270 pugs (and counting!) to find new forever homes!
Pugalug Pug Rescue is a bridge between a pug’s past life and its future forever home. It is a group of volunteers who are committed to helping rescued pugs by providing medical care, loving attention, comfort, food, companionship and a forever home. It is a process whereby the pug’s needs are paramount both during its time in the rescue process and when its ideal adoptive home is being determined.
Pugalug is able to fund the fostering, medical needs and rehoming of pugs and pug mixes solely through donations provided by generous supporters in the community. Help them continue their great work Celebrate their 10 year anniversary by making a donation (how about $10 a month?). Check out their site to stay up to date on each rescue pugs’ progress due to your help!
You can make a secure donation by clicking the links at the top of this page for PayPal or CanadaHelps. Tax receipts will be provided. If you would like to make a donation in another manner, email otherdonations@pugalug.com.
Meet our Adoptable Dog of the Day: Stanley!
Stanley is a 9 year old boy full of love and kisses. He loves to do a funny little dance, when you scratch his bum and is always up for a cuddle.
Stanley is blind and diabetic and requires a very strict routine of feeding followed by his dose of insulin twice a day. But Stanley is very good about getting his insulin shots and vet visits.
He is a little vocal when someone comes to the door or when he hears another dog barking. He would do best in a house with a fenced yard. Stanley walks well on leash but is very cautious and slow. He loves to just wander around in the back yard. Stanley is a very funny little man, who loves nothing more than to sit and snuggle. If Stanley sounds like your man, check out his adoption profile HERE.
