The CPE Classic Dog Show will be running alongside the CPE from Sept 9-11, with hundreds of North Americas top dogs vying for “best in” classes at Canada’s newest and most prestigious dog show with $20,000 in cash and prizes! This is an amazing opportunity to see all types of pet products, services and support companies, pets, exotics and supplies along with their pets! Don’t forget to bring the entire family, its a pet weekend so this includes the family pets.

Benefiting: Canadian Dachshund Rescue Ontario
This is the one you wait for all year… Wiener-Paw-Looza!! An annual picnic in support of the Canadian Dachshund Rescue.
See wiener dog races, costumes, games and more. Plus shop vendors and eat tons of yummy food!
New Barket

Newmarket’s one of a kind, family-friendly dog and animal festival. Bring your dog for a swim in the outdoor pool for $5 per dog, try the Dog Lovers Days Lure Course and the Aqua Dogs dock jumping and visit all of the pet-related vendors to shop everything for your furry friend! With a Kids Zone and food vendors as well, there’s something fun for everyone.
SPCA’s Annual Wiggle Waggle Walk

Admission: Pledge what you want!
Benefiting: Hamilton/Burlington SPCA
After a 5-kilometer stroll along the lake starting at the Edgewater Pavilion, this fan favorite charity event will end at Confederation Beach Park, with a doggie beach party and amazing contests, prizes, family friendly activities, vegetarian food trucks, and tons of happy, wet dogs.
Wiggle Waggle Walkers can either sign-up as individuals or form a “pack” to fundraise as a team. Registration and pledge forms can be found at https://hbspca.com. All pledge funds go directly to the support of mistreated and homeless animals in the Hamilton/Burlington area. Remember – simple steps save shelter pets!
PetSmart Adoption Weekend
September 15th – 17th, 2017 at a PetSmart store near you.
Four times per year, PetSmart Charities works with Animal Welfare Organizations across North America to host pet adoption events within PetSmart stores. When you attend, you’ll find dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and small pets all in need of a lifelong, loving home.

Come out and support animals in need by joining our 3nd Annual 5k Walk with your friends, family, and of course, your furry friends! Together with Animals Asia and Rescue Angels, Peace Fur Paws is holding this great community fundraising event to help raise funds for animals in need. All the funds will be forwarded to cat rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing, improving the welfare of cats and dogs in Asia and helping to end bear bile farming.
