You won’t believe what this adorable Dog did for Doritos

Kilo is a 3-year-old black pug rescued from Homeward Bound Rescue last year. He is my baby and my inspiration. I am putty in his paws and adore his cute little face. He is a great spokesdog for rescues, most of the time.

However, Kilo the Pug is flawed. He just can not resist food for more than a minute or two.  Kilo does try to be a good boy, but I can not leave him alone with anything edible anywhere within reach (edible can include quite a wide range of products). He is a counter surfer, and a bandit in spite of our best efforts. He can jump very high and will pull down or knock plastic bags off counters. He will try to knock things like recycling bins over. He will move furniture and cushions around to climb on. He has restyled shoes, clothes and other household items and stolen chips, snacks, quiches, appetizers, dinners, chocolate and other food.

The Doritos Crash The Superbowl Contest contest is an annual online commercial competition run by Frito-Lay. Consumers are invited to create their own Doritos ads and each year a winner is selected to have theirs aired during the Super Bowl. There are also cash prizes up to $1 million. I would love to win to finish a rescue project, and a teaching kids through dogs and play project plus donate to Rescues and maybe spoil myself and Kilo (although he is already pretty spoilt). We are always trying to come up with innovative ways to support and promote rescues through our content so this seemed like a really fun contest.

I happen to love Doritos (guilty pleasure). I decided to use Kilo’s love of food and mischief to inspire our ad. That bowl of Doritos on the table was just too tempting for this greedy little devil #doritospug. Look what he gets up to. He decides it’s Good To Be Bold and Bad Boys have more fun.

    Good luck! We shared on Twitter. Mr. N is very good around food but our foster pup was like Kilo. I was eating a Frosty once and I turned around to look for something (with the Frosty still in my hand) and he started eating out of it.

    Wow, what an exciting contest! I know I couldn’t get Bain to hold a Dorito, ever. Or any type of food. Lol!
