We absolutely love Halloween but it is quite an expensive time of year. We decorate the house inside and out. We get outfits for Kilo the Pug and the human family – see our video and links for inspiration. We make and buy lots of treats (including wine for the adults).

Layla woofs I look cute for treats and that is my trick LOL.. She refuses to wear costumes so have stopped trying although I did when I first got her. I now just put on a really cute polka dot harness dress as her costume and the hat goes on for maybe 2 seconds
The dogs look so adorable in their costumes. I can’t really get Jack excited about wearing a costume. One year he let me put a cape on him but he wasn’t too impressed. I stick with bandanas or a Halloween collar. My sweet Red was always very easy going about that. Bless her she was a witch one year, than a devil than I just put on cute sweaters.
Kilo is so cute! Sadly we haven’t really been doing much for Halloween in recent years. I’d like to celebrate it more, but it doesn’t seem to be a very big holiday around where we live. We almost never get any trick or treaters. I might dress my dogs up to get some cute pictures though, and of course there will be treats involved!

Kilo, could you get any cuter? Unfortunately we don’t get any trick or treaters since we live in a secure building in the city. I miss giving out candy and seeing all of the great costumes.

I’ve never really done costumes with my cats but the year Plush is going to be in a pet parade. I think he’s going to be a bat because the costume is basically a glorified harness. But I ordered a pirate costume because it was so cute. Maybe he won’t mind.

So many cute dogs in costumes! Although my dogs don’t wear costumes, I love seeing other people’s dogs enjoying themselves in the Halloween costumes.

I love Halloween and always have a blast seeing the clever creations folks come up with for their dogs.
