PawsWay Pet Loss Support Group
If you have experienced the loss of your animal or are anticipating the loss of your animal, know that you are not alone in the grief that you are feeling. The purpose of this group is to create a safe and supportive environment where everyone’s grief matters. Participants will have an opportunity to express their loss and share memories of their companions. The group meets the first Saturday of each month.

Meet rescue dogs, talk with volunteers and enjoy all of the great amenities at the Ottawa Doggy Daycare. There will be nail trims, a raffle and plenty of playtime with the dogs. Coffee and treats will be served.
Companion Obedience
May 14th and 15th, 2014
This festival will focus on children’s authors and illustrators who incorporate dogs or cats (or both!) into their books. Books may be fiction or non-fiction. The authors will do readings throughout the day and ideally are available for autographs and to promote and sell their books if they wish. Each author will have 30 minutes of dedicated programming. This can be utilized in a variety of ways such as readings, general conversations, or Q & A sessions.

‘Barks by the Bay’ Canine Festival and Trade Show. This festival acts as a venue for dog owners and enthusiasts to come together for a fun filled day. Check out the Off leash dog run area. vendors, demonstrators, speakers, breeders, shows, veterinarians, and the caliber of entertainment! Quinte Humane Society will be onsite all day accepting donations at their booth!
